If anything, Marcus was mad that Asap's version is bigger than his. Marcus isn't a huge H-town artist. He hasn't even blow up yet. He's known out here by not by a whole lot of people. Its cuz he's more underground than mainstream. Heck if Trae, RO or any of the rappers from SUC said something, then I'd respect that. But other than that, its a dumb ass beef in my opinion.
Heck, even Drake showed homage to the south with this track:
