I haven't watched a ton of him, but he's EASILY the most hyped WR prospect I'd seen in years, and his performance seems mediocre at best.

Is he just young? Is it Kyler and the offense? Does he just not have that gamebreaking speed or athleticism?

I know it's only his second year, but Nabers and BTJ have been looking great.
BTJ is struggling so far this year, but year he was better last year.

Even Odunze seems a bit better after two games. Caleb and Kyler are similar in that their play style clashes with their playcaller philosophy. Odunze is better at background football right now though.

Kyler is a problem but Nabers and BTJ produce with shyt QBs. MHJ was overhyped and is at best the third best WR in his draft class

No fukking way you seen BTJ play today and come to this conclusion

Dude had one of the worst games I ever seen from a WR

Yโ€™all need to stop looking at counting stats when it come to WR, film will tell you what you need to know

Making broad statements like this off one bad game is ridiculous. BTJ had a bad game yesterday(then again, MHJ had a quiet game too) but his track record is way better than MHJ.

It's funny you talk about looking at film, because when you look at the film you see that MHJ has a bunch of warts to his game. Only fast in a straight line, likes to catch the ball with this body, has a real difficulty creating separation. Those are problems ignoring Kyler's warts.

Like I said, AT BEST he's the third best WR in his class. He's gonna start having trouble holding off guys like McConkey and Odunze soon

Deshaun probably was always going to be on the decline. Going to that Cleveland offense expedited that shyt. Baker looks like a new guy without that offense. Remember he had trouble getting prime Odell the ball.

I haven't seen enough of him, but it's becoming more and more apparent that to be an elite WR in the NFL today, you need to have game breaking speed or physical ability. From what I've seen of him, he doesn't pop off the screen to me. Again, a lot of that may be the Cardinals, but even watching some clips of him before the draft, I didn't understand why he was rated that much higher than Nabers and even BTJ.
I was concerned way back before the draft.Watched a bunch of his college highlights. The biggest concern for me was his lack of aggressiveness when the ball was in the air. He'st very nonchalant when it comes to attacking the ball.Instead of going after the ball & using his size as leverage against the CB, he just waits for the ball to fall right in his lap. That's the other thing, he doesn't have a natural instinct to high point the ball. You hardly ever see him extend his arms above his head. He's more of a body catcher.Go look at all of his big catches. He's always catching the ball between his chest & shoulders. This always stood out to me.I grew up watching Larry Fitz.He was a master at using his hands & highpointing the ball.

MHJ bigger & faster than Fitz, but he doesn't have the instinct.Which is bad when you mix him with a QB like Kyler.Kyler has the world fooled because he's good for 2-3 Sportscenter highlights every game, but when you actually sit down and watch every play, the guy is disgustingly inconsistent.Especially as a passer. Most of the time, it looks like he's just phoning it in imo.I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to play baseball when his contract is up.He has his 250 mil already..But yeah, as of right now, MHJ's looking like a poor man's A.J. Green.

Kyler's the worst QB to have. Good enough not to get rid of, bad enough that you're not a serious contender for anything
