Apart of it possibly being that a lot of folks knew Austin was gonna get the W.
#1 He been on the chase since September of that year so it was time for the pay off
#2. The Rock was catching more on as a face

Crazy how back in the attitude era, that main event and aftermath could pretty much make up for an entirely shytty card and the crowd would legitamately leave satisfied
