And don’t come at me with tribalism shyt because AEW has done some anti-fan shyt too because public WBD wanted AEW to do it.It’s what happens when you go public. Got to constantly be growing and making more money or the stock holders start causing shyt.
It’s just another in a long list of examples of the capitalism-infused, anti-user enshytification of the world for short term profits at the expense of long term stability and success where the only thing that matters is growth, growth, growth.
Much of what I read in this article about the enshytification of the tech industry mirrors what WWE is doing. And WWE is still very young in their TKO full-scale public, corporate era. The anti-fan business practices are only going to get worse with time.
WWE claims to be a sports entertainment company instead of a wrestling company, but it not even that anymore. What it’s really become is a “we’ll do whatever the fukk we want company” because they think their fans are stupid fukking marks. Why? Because they largely are going to keep doing what WWE wants them to do no matter how bad it gets.
And that’s why’s WWE always tries to suppress and eliminate the competition - it prevents their ability to feed you the laziest shyt product because to make it more fan friendly would likely come at the cost of profits. And the Supreme Court, many, many years before any of us on here were ever born, that it’s illegal for a public company to do things that are knowingly counterproductive to growing revenue.
So...Much...ThisWWE is boring atm.
HHH absolutely can't book.
TKO is closer than you realize to running fans off.
Vince's time has passed, but we're seeing what he was better at.
Vegas crowds fukking suck
Watch Tony Khan put All In in Louisiana next year![]()
I’m just glad WWE decided to run Mania Vegas since they likely made TK realize it’s time to get Double or Nothing out of that shythole. This too...
WOAT crowd next to Corpus Christi and the too pretty for claps LA crowds (sorry my LA TSC brehs, but I'm going by the events that I have seen in the past)
I’m just glad WWE decided to run Mania Vegas since they likely made TK realize it’s time to get Double or Nothing out of that shythole.
You must be talking about the 2002-05 era, because the late 2000-early 02 era was greatness. Smackdown was killing it on UPN during that time, while Triple K was opening every show with 20min regurgitated monologues. As for part timers I don't mind it, since we see who HHH wants as full time main eventers.So...Much...This
I'm quite tired of this "glad Vince is gone" bullshyt, when its all grievances because "he destroyed my company". I say this as a WCW mark and enjoyer of the 80s territory steez. Also somebody that can't stand the old cocksucker as a human embodiment of fecal matter, but on his watch its a blend of entertainment and making money.
WWE hustling backwards with the focus on financial and influencer, rather than the complete circle of the business. You got heads saying that the later Vince years were WOAT, but look at the product now. A reaction is better than no reaction. When you have mofos checking out, being meh about the current CeGOAT heel turn, wondering why so much potential black talent is not in the front, and having diamond threads dedicated on how much Trips and his cronies are just one Hitler pose away from having Wrestlemania in Moscow...maybe just maybe something is off.
Nevermind the ticket sales are slowly diminishing, the drop in quality of Raw on Netflix (reminds me of the miserable Raw on TNN days), and part timers hogging up the main event. WWE is BYKE :D
I guarantee you by the end of the summer and come NFL season, its going to be spooky season and NWG will have the door open for new members![]()
If they do this bait and switch too much they are going to have cities refuse to bid to host PLEs.With mania being such a big and highly sought after event, don't know why they don't just plan ahead better. Of course now it's more about profits than anything. They want to do it again in Vegas so they can replicate or even pass the money from this year. Even worse was The Rock announcing it being in NO next year. Like why do that then switch it cuz of greed.
Of course the comparisons are gonna be there of repeat cities between two companies. But AEW said last year at All In that they were going back to London in 2026, or even when they ran it the first time they did they were gonna go back the next year. They didn't announce one city then say oh yall ain't gonna give us a much money as possible so we going back to the previous city.
I mean if that's the case for WWE, then how do we know it doesn't extend beyond mania. If major cities with more money get them a higher revenue, then what's stopping them from not going to any small cities if they not gonna make as much money? Or even just going mostly international like they have been more often. Wouldn't be surprised if they keep doing extensive international tours for Raw and SD like the recent one.
It's gone beyond mania being a grand experience and more about how they can make more profits every time. They gonna either have to temper their expectations on ticket prices next year or slash prices again as the show gets near.
Yo, you gotta work with the city and the CVB and all that when companies host these huge 50,000+ people events. Hotels gotta take it in consideration etc. This is a huge event to be moving cities less than 12 months out
If if we gotta hear fien in vegas again at Mania
