Lookin forward just because wwe rarely goes over where things went wrong.

Wm9 is classic for diff reasons tho

The star power alone as every one of them guys basically made a name for themselves down the line. Wm9 was like bret, shawn, razor, lex and even takers true debut as top tier guys and not just debuting stars or transitioning from midcard. Taker just started running after big fueds with jake warrior hogan etc but now he had to hold the weight himself against giant gonzalez. Its an interesting show. Transitional

It was a mess but it still holds good memories for me.

Y’all trippin. This is a perfect WM to do a doc on.

It’s like the red headed step child of WM’s.

Especially with the Hoegan and Bret shyt, the Taker/Giant Gonzales match and all the dumb ass shyt they did to make it different from other WM’s. It was in a damn parking lot :mjlol:

yea lets do a documentary on the one of the WOAT Wrestlemanias, instead of 17, or 19

I think that's kinda the point... looks like it's basically gonna be the Dark Side of WrestleMania :russ:

It's the most criticized Mania of all time (even tho' I think there are some that deserve way more criticism). I don't think there's one Mania that is more universally despised. That Hart/Hogan/Yoko shyt is probably gonna be the centerpiece.

Ah shyt this is going to test my resolve. I might have to pirate this piff and watch it without the Mrs :mjcry:

I love and hate this Mania in equal measure.

It was my peak little-kid fandom Mania so I was hyped for a lot of angles and wrestlers... but it was also where I checked out for a bit. I didn't really watch again apart from the odd Rumble or Mania until 1998. I was a Bret Hart stan and I was bored of Hogan in 1990.:manny:

When I watched it for the first time I actually popped at the ending too because I was enough of a mark to fall for Hogan somehow regaining some of Bret's honour but I watched it back and saw them job out Bret AND Yoko who were both fukking awesome just so Hulk Hogan could come down and steal them in 20 seconds with a black eye and a shyt-eating grin.

Don't get me started on the "And Then The Bell Rang" Undertaker/Giant feud. I was SO fukking hype for that.:sadbron:

Guessing it won't be covered, but I think this was the event where prior to the event Savage and Hoegan got into it and Hoegan was sporting a black eye from Savage.
