This was a cool moment and I think Nick has talked about this several times. They go over this towards the end of the Doc.
Yeah this was dope just for the amount of footage they had. I started as a Nitro kid initially and tapes and video games of this era from my parents were my first impression of wwf so it brings me back. Not the best mania but a great changing of the times. Vince looked so annoyed with Hulk in all their footage together

i liks how taker called it a slap in yhe face to come back like that. Hogan had 10 years in wwe before taker even came in headlined 8 straight lmao. He took the hogan spot of doing that and did it for way longer way older way more past the limit.
People cry about it now but the fans were very happy hogan was back because he was gone all year atp. I was like 5 and me and my friends loved hulk hogan. No warrior. Macho not even wrestling. It NEEDED hogan. Even if it was a one off last hoorah which it was for 10 years.
Vlad with the finale moment going nuts for hogan seals it. Is vlad still alive? Legend man. Numbers dont lie.
All those guys were still green. Undertaker had yet ti proove himself. And was hurt by the next mania and missed that one completely. . I think shawn was the most seasoned by then but even he didnt become the shawn michaels we know until the next year. Razor with bob was an off choice.
Mean gene sonning howard finkle was lmao
Bret almost cried again. But he was super green for a top guy still. No confidence in that press conf. He became champ thru flair right like not even that long before that? 6 months he had the belt. The previous summer slam he lost to bulldog.
Bret got a much bigger moment at 10. A better mania and set of matches and build one that was alllll about him. So he needs to get over it.
Rewatching this, some good memories. Tatanka was a tank man.

Yup, I remember my older cousins being mad at the time but kid me was just happy Yoko didn't walk out with the belt..
But Man they caught Hulk plottin a couple times with giant Gonzales during the doc. there's probably an alternate universe were we would of watched Hogan struggling to slam the giant Gonzales at SummerSlam or some shyt...
