People want classic matches and people to get adequate time to make art happen. Wrestlemania has never been this. It's always been more about the presentation. The Tokyo Dome show, however, is an absolute wrestling showcase. It's where five star matches are delivered.

Occasional 2 star matches in the E are now helmed as CLASSICS, guys with their marginal talent and athleticism and limited movesets

Wrestlemania XXX is better than 90% of japan shows, and wrestling doesnt need flippie shyt, or kickout fests to be good. NJPW isnt all that of course but dont front like tokyodome is some incredible stuff like they weren't getting like 30,000 only two years ago.
You say that wrestlemania isnt a wrestling showcase because your perception of what a "wrestling showcase" is, is biased at best.

But wwe also has corbin, strowman, big show, undertaker, brock, etc to balance it out.
Plus in comparing njpw and wwe people outside of wwe get + a whole star or letter grade because of perception from smarks. The usos for example would be gods if they were in njpw. In wwe they are just some guys.

WWE has more variety yeah I'm just sayin that most of the main event guys in WWE are borrowing from NJPW. There's a lot of respect between the two also. Cena wouldn't put up pics of Omega on his IG and a bunch of stars wouldn't tweet about WK11 if they weren't fond of it.
This WWE vs. NJPW "war" is only something for the beards to argue about. There is not a big difference in the styles right now between promotions.
