WWE has more variety yeah I'm just sayin that most of the main event guys in WWE are borrowing from NJPW. There's a lot of respect between the two also. Cena wouldn't put up pics of Omega on his IG and a bunch of stars wouldn't tweet about WK11 if they weren't fond of it.

This WWE vs. NJPW "war" is only something for the beards to argue about. There is not a big difference in the styles right now between promotions.
Yeah, i definitely agree with this.

Breh im gonna be honest

You are a young dirtsheet-born star junkie who doesnt really get wrestling. Ive seen it in your recent posts.

Wrestlemania XXX is better than 90% of japan shows, and wrestling doesnt need flippie shyt, or kickout fests to be good. NJPW isnt all that of course but dont front like tokyodome is some incredible stuff like they weren't getting like 30,000 only two years ago.

You say that wrestlemania isnt a wrestling showcase because your perception of what a "wrestling showcase" is, is biased at best.
You misinterpreted my post entirely. I'm not saying one is better than the other. What I am saying is that it is apples to oranges. You can't go into Wrestlemania wanting classic 5 star matches like a NJPW show. That's my point.

I'm not a "dirtsheet-born star junkie," because I appreciate all types of wrestling. I don't over-complicate it. I don't think about booking decisions. I just enjoy what goes on. When you treat it like a sport that isn't predetermined, you'll truly enjoy it.

Peace and love.

West where the Sunsets
That's literally my point.

I know.

And you say "people" like you mean everybody. A 7 year old kid doesn't give a fukk about quality matches. He's there to see his favorite wrestler.

Only people who appreciate wrestling care about matches being good. And if you go into a show, no matter what fed, expecting a classic then you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

What are matches that matter? :stopitslime:

Goldberg/Brock
Kang/Rollins
Shane/AJ
Takkker/Reigns

Part timers are still the draw
I saw the 6 star Okkkada/Omega match, the last 15 minutes of the match was literally moving from one high spot to another so miss me with that shyt :mjlol:

You're wrong about Omega/Okada but I'm not going to debate it because we know you are trolling, your act is stale like Cena's marine gimmick :mjlol:

As for your first point, that's something Vince has decided to do. He's all about the part timers for WM.

How do we know that's the best way to go? Ratings have fallen off a cliff. Even when Goldberg is on RAW the ratings don't move. The only thing that helps out is the end of football season.

But there have been many five star, A+ matches at wrestlemania.

And your thread title CLEARLY makes it seem like wrestlemania is some bullshyt compared to WK.

I do go into wrestlemania expecting some good matches. Some of, many of my favorite matches ever are at wrestlemania. You cant act like that there are a resume of classics over the years there.

I don't agree with this. WM is more about the spectacle and always has been but there's been plenty of "classics" put on whether it was Steamboat/Macho, Bret/Austin, Taker/Shawn, the list goes on and on..

This year I don't know. It looks like most matches will be kept short but I'm fine with it if they are entertaining.

Ratings fell off a cliff when wrasslin stopped being about the characters and drama, Vince GOATsso was a champion for it and it's not surprising as success has followed him everywhere

There absolutely are, but many people are complaining this year that there is no great wrestling match-up and rather stipulation matches. They shouldn't complain, because Wrestlemania is an extravaganza. You'll get great matches, but it's mostly for the spectacle.

you always say this but what happened when he went to WCW and had full control? It was a disaster. There were other people in WWE besides Russo who had their finger on the pulse. shyt, they had an ongoing deal with Paul Heyman, they borrowed a lot of shyt they saw in ECW and toned it down.

I'm not knocking Russo for his work there but there is a such thing as "too much" and Russo was the epitome of that. He didn't know when he had gone too far and in WCW nobody checked him and the company died.

Your hero was partially responsible for killing WCW.

He never had full control in WCW and it was a sinking ship when he arrived, and Ric Flair who hated him said it was laughable to blame GOATsso for the fall of WCW. Ratings were even starting to come back towards the end of his WCW run as his stories were becoming more mature and well developed. His run in T:flabbynfif:A also the period of PEAK ratings for that company. No need to go into the peak of the WWE and the wrasslin business as a whole was under Vince

Again, success has followed him everywhere
