People want classic matches and people to get adequate time to make art happen. Wrestlemania has never been this. It's always been more about the presentation. The Tokyo Dome show, however, is an absolute wrestling showcase. It's where five star matches are delivered.

This is incredibly ignorant breh. There's been waaaaaaaay more good Wrestlemanias shows than Dome shows. And there sure as hell been more classic matches at Mania that at the Dome in January.

Before 2012, having a MOTYC on 1/4 was the exception, not the norm.

There absolutely are, but many people are complaining this year that there is no great wrestling match-up and rather stipulation matches. They shouldn't complain, because Wrestlemania is an extravaganza. You'll get great matches, but it's mostly for the spectacle.

Real question, no shade, how old are you and how long have you been watching wrestling?

Wrestlemania has never been about the wrestling though. There have been shows where we've had multiple quality matches but for the most part it's all about the spectacle especially during the 80's and 90's when Vince insisted on shoving celebrities down our throats during the show. I would rather watch a Wrestle Kingdom than Wrestlemania but you have to appreciate what Wrestlemania and the WWE is, sports entertainment.

I can name more classics from wrestlemania from part timers alone than i can from a wrestle kingdom show which i watched based off yall hype. If that omega match was 6 stars than shyt like

Hogan v rock
Macho vs warrior
Hbk vs taker

Were 9 stars

Hogan v Rock wasn't about the in ring work it was the crowd

Wrestle Kingdom wasn't even Wrestle Kingdom for the first like....12 years of 1/4 dome shows. Maybe more. It wasn't until the last 5-6 years that NJ got serious about having a few classics every year at WK.

It had different names for 15 years before getting to "Wrestle Kingdom". It didn't became a "workrate" show till 2013.
