bet that wwe stock gonna drop like a rock in a bottomless pit at the opening bell, think it dropped friday as it was. the market and raw will be interesting to say the least..although im not very interested in watching their half-assed panic apology tomorrow night.
dont know how anyone can really defend hogan at all. i suppose im surprised at the vulgarity and extent to how racist his rant was but not as much that he or other wrestlers are racist. thats not news. i heard a replay of piper's interview on the rich eisen show and he was completely incoherent. obviously racist as well..but even when he was asked directly by eisen about the hogan thing, he kept rambling about shyt that wasnt even remotely relevant to the situation. it was uncomfortable listening to that senile bum even try to speak because it was so apparent that he was trying to avoid saying something stupid that he completely went off the grid. i saw the quote earlier in the thread but the actual interview was so off the wall that i dont even remember him saying that.
wwe needs to clean house. it wont happen but it needs to. vince needs to resign, hayes and all those other schmucks should be out the door etc. i should go as far as saying that he should sell the company but that is beyond being possible enough to even really suggest. him stepping down as it is is probably a 10% chance at best so selling is out of the question..he's going to rightfully take even more shyt for that cena segment (i wasnt watching wwe at the time...when i caught wind of it years later
) and is going to find himself in a sterling situation (or as close to it as possible).

just to circle this around..i cant fathom how defending this is acceptable. ive been a big fan of hall and nash for years and can accept that they are also likely racist. i wouldnt go as far as saying they are both excusing it but their statements certainly werent condemning it. hall did call his character into question with the wife thing but the "in that past" comment was stupid and discouraging. i havent seen anything from nash other than that one tweet...so i dont know if that was just an unprovoked statement or a response or a part of an ongoing dialogue with him but i kinda interpreted it as being as close to defending him as possible while not really saying anything. he said he never heard him say a racial slur
, which isnt to say that nash thought that A) hogan is or isnt racist B)he is or isnt defending the actual audio C) he himself is or isnt racist or D) he's lying about hogan for pr purposes and damage control. nash is smart enough to know that damn near that whole generation is going to be guilty by direct proof or association and it was clearly an attempt of salvaging anything..possibly by HHH's request. who knows.

Would be pretty disappointed to be honest. Even if the rock himself is biracial, he has a black father who he is very proud of for making history as a black man in the industry like his father did. So if anything, even if Rock didn't see himself as a man of color (which I'm sure he does as well as a Samoan) Rock probably still should be upset that Hulk is pretty much calling his father a fukking ******.
Though like the poster above showed us, Rock has showed his disappointment in racist comments before when he walked out of a interview when someone compared a black guy to a gorilla.
