In 2015, Reigns was having great matches with Wyatt, Big Show, Lesnar, Bryan, Sheamus, and the list goes on. Those matches at least had compelling storytelling and weren't as formulaic as all the Cena matches. The best part about Reigns is that he knows the type of wrestler that he is and doesn't try to incorporate hurricanranas and sunset flip powerbombs into his moveset just to appease some smarky fans.
Agree here - Reigns IMO has more in-ring potential than Cena and he honestly did start to have more engaging matches.

most underrated guy might be Heath Slater

got some really good promo skills coupled with good inring ability

him and Bo Dallas in the same boat to me, should be higher but booking is keeping them low

Dallas could be the next Buff Bagwell :mjcry:

The good thing is that both of em are still relatively young and seem to be well-liked. Slater got a show on the Network with Game Night and both of em are relied upon for comedy segments with legends, that's gotta count for something :ld:

Far better promos? Barely. Just a bunch of asskissing.

His in ring work is not better than Reigns. Cena never tells a story in the ring and his selling is non-existent. He can have an entertaining match but there's usually no substance to it and it's just a spotfest.

Wyatt and Big show matches relied too heavily on weapons (anyone can have a good match when weapons are involved), Lesnar was just suplexes and finishers, Sheamus matches were solid and Bryan had a great match? Surprise surprise :troll:

Cena actually had great matches with at least a dozen guys last year and the guy is 38, give credit where credit is due, CeGOAT is a damn fine wrestler :wow:

:duck: Not true at all.

I never said Cena was a bad wrestler. He just can't tell a story in the ring.

Dude, we could hit each other with kendo sticks, chairs, trashcans, put each other through tables and it'd be an entertaining match... which would require zero skill at all; just the toughness to take a few bumps :manny:

The Lesnar-Ambrose match at Wrestlemania disproves that belief. It was one of the worst matches on the card and didn't tell a compelling story.
