Went through the entire thread and noticed renee dupree got a mention over sean o'haire :scusthov: this guy right here man smh

6'5 and could hit swanton bombs with more grace then jeff hardy

More agile then cruiserweights

More powerful then most heavyweights

Had the look and was young as fukk when he got in wcw and wwe

Great mention. Just sucked that he (apparently) couldn't cut live promos, and those vignettes required multiple takes. I'm surprised they haven't passed that gimmick off to anyone else years later.

innovator :birdman:

He's a good choice. Basically, him Christoper Daniels, and Nova were really into new and innovative moves. Though 2cold wasn't as smooth and safe as people like Apollo Crews and Neville ("big" high flyers).

Kanyon was the first thought. As was Jeff Hardy for me. Took years for Jeff Hardy to be considered a main eventer, and it just never worked in WWE because he was wild.

I think the best look at Christian is when TNA let him do his thing...he was awesome in the backstage skits with Tomko and AJ Styles etc. They gave him the freedom to do his own thing his way, and I really liked his ideas. I get why people don't think he looks like a champ...but now that Dean Ambrose can win the belt, and WWE is accepting AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan got up there.....

In some ways you could say Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles are ahead of their time. DBry got to the brass ring for a short time, then had to tap out. AJ is just blessed in that his body can still go as he gets toward 40. But if they each were 30 and healthy NOW and had 8 more years.....they could redefine what is considered the top guy.

Also DDP got into wrestling way late as it was...but I wonder if he could tweak his character for todays time if he were around.

Raven would be interesting too.

Dynamite Kid could have just been in the G1 Climax this week and held his own, and the dudes peak was in the 70's. He would have fit in well in ECW, he would have fit in well in the Nitro era of great weekly TV matches, he would have fit in with the TLC crew in the early 2000's if he was with the British Bulldogs, he would fit in well with this "new era" we have today with Styles, KO etc. IMO, Dynamite is THE wrestler who was years ahead of his time.
