I will NEVER understand how he became a big enough deal to not only win the WWE title, but to get a heartfelt goodbye like he was Flair status, and to be inducted into the HOF so quickly

I never really liked that dude....never really hated him either. Dude just seemed like a plain CAW-type with long hair and who would do crazy eyes sometimes to somehow prove he wasn't bland. That's it.

Dude never seemed like a main-eventer to me......at best he was just a midcarder that was forced into main-event status

his feud with matt hardy made him main event status. He did find his way as Rated R superstar though and filled a void at the right time.

Dude has been a bum for at least 10 years now but he had some great matches with Bret & Owen during that 1-2-3 Kid run. His match against Bret for the WWF title on Raw is one of my all-time favorites.

He also did some great stuff with Jerry Lynn down in GWF as the Lightning Kid and some great matches with Rock when he was X-Pac.
