I hated this song from the moment I heard it.

Then it started getting HUGE

Then I went along with it. Did about 648 Electric.. line dances

And now I find out that I have been jamming to the most popular dildo song

ever

That pissed me off and ruins the .. line dance forever

Also, this is HILARIOUS

I’ll just leave this here:

At no time have I ever lent credence to a rumor that the song was inspired by anything other than Eddie Grant’s Electric Avenue. To state otherwise is a falsehood and offends my legacy, the legacy of the singer Marcia Griffiths, and tarnishes the reputation of a song beloved by millions of fans the world over.

As soon as I read the title, I went over the lyrics in my head and was like "OMG"...

I can see what you saying and imma let you finish...
...but I thought back to being in the 3rd grade myself. When we had our class party on the last day of school we danced to "Don't Be Afraid", "Humpin' Around", and "Rump Shaker"...

:wow:

On some real shyt, this is a prime example of the difference of cultures along with a generational gap can be disastrous shyt because Marcia Griffiths is one of those old school Jamaicans. They dont play that shyt. The new dancehall artists or newer generation okay but not the old school ones. So yeah that shyt is offensive especially considering how that could ruin her image since her music was never edgy to begin with. Whoever wrote that article clearly never listened to any of her music or knows about her like that.
