They haven't even started filming yet. Mid February Ralph Macchio said the writing room was active and then production would start within this month, it could be they got the script done but it's looking like a casualty, breh.

Heroes was well before the writers' strike.

In fact, it actually helped them a bit because they were forced to end season 2 early and realize it wasn't working.
