Texting for the most part, I can't stand talking on the phone because the voice quality makes it hard to understand people. Voice calls on Skype are cool and I prefer that over texting.

Yeah I don't know why I don't do more skype calling.
I only tend to do it when calling family abroad.

Voice chat comes through so clear on Skype . I don't understand why in 2013 talking on the phone isn't crisp yet.

I think it has to do with existing wiring and how much bandwidth is carries. Or something like that. Someone explained it on Reddit a few weeks back. I should have saved it
I think they said that generally, VOIP is better quality.
