Absolutely, and its not like USA wasn't the sugar daddy to Tesla. Unfortunately Elon is a goddamn scammer who wasn't really trying to push things forward. When these remedial cats talk about bringing back manufacturing jobs, that shyt has to be high tech jobs using the talent America usually attracts. More R&D to the sciences, broadband networks across the country, etc.

The only thing we do it right for is Defense lol. I've ridden in like 4 BYDs and they aren't amazing BUT they have something for EVERYONE. They have tiny 10k Barebone (AC,Bluetooth,reverse Camera) cars and then decent priced more premium options. It is insane to me the USA hast don't this where we don't even have to compete on price, if everything is 10-20% more in cost it would still compete just from the "American Brand" culture currency we have. Like OK we don't wanna do high speed rail nationally and more public transportation, but to drop the ball on this is INSANE!!!! Like I would at least figured Obama would have done it.
