It reminds of the 07 Patriots. They played with a chip on their shoulder and basically said "fukk you" to the whole league the entire season. And they set a regular season wins record. Then they got smacked in the mouth when they came across a more physical team in the playoffs. At least the Pats made it to the championship game though.

You forget the 07 Pats had to come back from 4th quarter deficits basically the last 8 games. Also it took probably the greatest/ luckiest play ever to beat them

They can't take Ibaka/Adams out of the series, the way they've beaten bigger teams is by making it :scust: for you to play your big. Both those guys make freethrows at a high enough percentage that trying the hack-a shyt doesn't work, and the fact Ibaka can hit the three gives Adam the room he needs. They were able to get Kanter off the floor, but those two are something they haven't be able to solve.

(Obviously KD & Russ have killed it as well)
I knew they were fukked when OKC shytted on their "death lineup" in the 3rd last game. Durant being a 7 footer + the shooting and Ibaka and even Adams somehow being quick enough to switch everything = all of Golden State's usual advantages gone

The funky lineups that the Warriors usually kill teams with have been :yeshrug: for the Thunder. Like you said, KD is just blowing a lot of it up, especially in the Steph/Dray screen since he's on Steph and that is a difficult matchup for Steph.

They can't hide Curry on defense. Westbrook too athletic for him and Roberson stays under the basket and rebounds and get layups and easy points cause Curry can't box him out. Thunder is a big team and they're playing big.

And Lowkey Durant D'ing the fukk up

add the fact that for a 7 footer, adams got decent lateral movement and can stay on the perimeter without gettin completely embarrassed. his D (pause) has really imprsesed me this entire series.

add the fact he took a full karate kick from dirty ass draymond green and stuck in the game shows his toughness as well

OKC has versatile athletic bigs that bring unique skill sets to the table. KD included. Then Russ is a maniac rebounding. Waiters is actually a great defender. Robertson is slashing

I saw it in the finals last year, but people wanted to shyt on me for it.

LeBron James BY HIMSELF was up 2-1 on this damn squad. He lost the series because he was exhausted. MOZGOV was the second best player on the cavs in the finals and he can't even get off the bench now.

LET THAT SINK IN. @GoddamnyamanProf also saw it.
and they were 1 missed shot away from being up 3-0 because it went to OT, Shumpert missed the shot and Kyrie got his season ending injury.

i think this is the right answer.

Adams being quick enough to switch on everything is killing OKC and like @Malta said, Adams hitting free throws and being athletic means Golden State is getting murdered. OKC will probably end this on Thursday and beat whomever comes out of the East.
