Take the word of you or someone who does this for a living......hmmmm
What word? He made claims that are demonstrably untrue. Don't need to do anything for a living to see it. And he does not work in the gaming industry anyway.

He claimed DLC and a "patch" are tge same. That's untrue.

Downloadable content (DLC) is additional content for a video game distributed through the Internet by the game's official publisher or other third party content producers

A patch is a piece of software designed to update a computer program or its supporting data, to fix or improve it

A "patch" updates existing data. DLC adds additional data. They are two different things, which is why they have two different names and two different definitions.

He also claimed that 343 is calling it a patch.

The result is that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will take up almost all of the usable space of a single Blu-ray (45 GB), and we will also issue a content update at launch that is estimated to be 20 GB.
"Content update" is what they are calling it.

Again. Everything I've said is 100% truth. And as usual y'all ignore truth and jump at any change to insult me. It only shows your own ignorance :manny:

This is one instance where the mandatory installation is a horrible idea... Especially this game for xbox one.

extra discs cost extra money

"b-b-but last gen games came on three discs..."

those extra discs still cost extra money. it's clear to them that people that want to play the game online have an internet connection, and delivering that content digitally is cheaper
