Marc Cuban really thought he was doin' it this night

And all that happened was the Rockets got better defensively, reaching the WCF, including washing his team 4-1, while the Mavs overpayed for 2 knee surgeries. Lol.

Dude looked like he could barely move against the Lakers the other day, how he was able to finesse another big contract after his knee issues in Dallas is beyond me

We dodged a bullet not resigning him after that Portland series in '14.

He was a solid player but nothing I felt we absolutely needed or that was worth a big deal. I think we got Ariza the very next year for far less and it ended up working out for the long term obviously

During the whole Deandre drama when he committed to Dallas before flip flopping, I remember a few articles speculating on whether Parsons was secretly one of the most valueable players in the league since he was also Cuban's secret weapon of personal recruiter for big name free agents. Had pics of Parsons in his suit and briefcase and everything

Might be the worst contract in the league. 4yr/94m

he's averaging 5 ppg, 2 reb, 1apg in 17 mpg.

shooting 33% from the field and 18% from 3

Same with Miles Plumlee 4yr/$52

2 ppg, 1.6rpg, 0.7apg

i totally forgot parsons was eating like that and had no idea plumlee was eating like that either.

talk about hitting licks :wow:

:mjcry: my son tim thomas came in the league 12-13 years to early.

I don't know what Memphis was thinking. Even Cuban, who was/is best buds with Parsons wasn't willing to pay him the max.

What's even more strange is that at his best, Parsons was just above average. Like a 3rd or 4th best player on a great team type.

His agent must be the GOAT.

Teams need to stop giving out 3-4 year deals to players with injury history...

Players be getting the max just because it's :mindblown:

For that time, 3 years 46 mil WAS a max :mjlol:
