I had a black roomate in college from Ohio....he would say this...and had me like :what:



Good find. I've seen this before, and that is eye opening but also keep in mind, the majority of that blue "Pop" area is cornfields, mountains, and wide open spaces...

Had no idea, N.C. was so diverse with what to call carbonated beverage, I see my home county is in yellow "soda" area which makes sense..
Only people here that call that shyt pop is people that moved here from the chi. I get in a fight with my boy every time he calls it pop :scusthov:

i live in the midwest now and i refuse to say pop. i have a question though. why do yall ask if i want my sub/hoagie/sandwich toasted? is that a midwest thing or do they only do it here in minnesota. i cant imagine having a nice italian hoagie toasted.

I say soda... pop just sounds retarded. Most folks here say "coke", which is equally weird.

And I love toasted subs... I don't think that's relegated to a particular area.
