I've been watching Last Chance U on Netflix which is based in Mississippi. Everything about that state is just seriously wtf

Naw man most them kats chill as long as you don't fukk with them (especially the D boys). Brothas and sistas so nice in Mississippi that your car can break down on the side of the road they will give you a ride and call someone to tow your car.

Oh and them country women will take care of you. Even if you woman them country dudes will take care of you.

Man I went to college my freshman year and had girls I was just cool with and they were like hey I will take your clothes home and have my mom wash them. Or they would offer to bring me some food from back home....when they went home for the weekend.

When you are from a big city you don't understand that hit cause folks don't really talk to one another and people are basically always trying to hustle folks. So you always think folks have some shady motive to help you.

Mississippi got one of the highest murder rates in the country tho. Some my cousins in the Chi stay going back and forth to the 'Sip and they say it's like Gary Indiana grimey. It's not like big city hustle grimey like I'm trying to finesse and get over on you but more like I'm jealous of you and I'm gonna knock you off just cuz I don't like you. And I'll get away with it cuz ain't nobody out here to see it. Theh say most folks is cool but the wolves don't give a fukk because there ain't shyt to do down there but drama and they have nothing to lose. I mean it's a majority Black state ain't it? And it's pretty low income too right? I don't care if it's big city or middle of nowhere. Anywhere you got a bunch of nikkas struggling it's gonna be some drama
