Spo is one hell of a coach. They develop talent as good as any team in the NBA. They get talented players who were washed before and turn them into the potential they always had. Before they sign Whiteside, he was cut by Memphis and he was in Lebanon and 2nd division China the year before that.

There's too many candidates this year. Scott Brooks definitely deserves a lot of mention, Quinn Snyder, as well as Mike Dantoni, Brad Stevens as well.

I would honestly say Spo is on the short list but it's hard to go v. Scott Brooks and Mike D. Brad and Quin both had squads I expected to do this. Washington had the talent but putting it all together seemed highly unlikely to me and I actually attend Wizard games.

They have the most balanced team in the NBA...They can bang in the post, they can drive, they can knock down three point shot and play defense. Also their so called scrub play their role VERY WELL ( BABITT, McGRuder and Reed)...Ellington, Tyler Johnson, Richardson and James Johnson are very good off the bench.

His days of playing whiteside 25 mins a game are long gone. Lol. He's had his faults but just like the team this year he grew and improved as a coach. One of the best defensive coaches in the league an he knows how to develop players.
