Everyone fell in love with the three ball. We are entering an era where the 3 point shooting team is king which is unheard of. Its never EVER been like that before.
Result? You're gonna see a bunch of blowouts in the playoffs, which has never been seen before. Ppl wanted to act like watching teams jacking up threes is more exciting than the classic blood-soaked war of attrition in the paint. There may not have been as much scoring back then but atleast the games were closer and there was ridiculous tension leading up to the 4th quarter. Now we live in a world where the average playoff game is over by the time the 2nd half starts.
. And Its gonna continue to be like this for a very long time, or until we see a rule change down the road.

Kobe, Iverson and you know Jordan wouldn't accept defeat even if their team was down 30 going into the 4th
Last night the Raptors waved the white flag early and started resting for next game. They weren't even embarrassed to lose by 40 cause they weren't "trying" I guess....

Westbrook wouldn't either. Chris Paul....etc. Even AUSTIN RIVERS showed more heart in round one.
I'm just giving examples everyone knows and just the standard set. But the actual players right now aren't living up to.
