I thought it was only older women who did this silly shyt but the younger ones are too.

I asked a colleague from an old job yeaaaars back why she wore those long ass nails. They were impractical and she struggled to do basic tasks with them in.

She was in her late 40s, single with no children (just for context).

Me: “hey, how comes you wear your nails so long? I see you get them caught in your keyboard. Doesn’t it make it harder for you to type?”

Her: “I don’t wear them for you or any other man. I wear them for myself because they look good.”

She came at me mad aggressive. And yes, it was my business because she kept asking others and I to help her do basic things because her nails stopped her from doing it.

Also, I was only 21 at the time fresh out of college. Now I wouldn’t care but back then, I can admit I didn’t have the maturity or nuance I have now. But I asked her in a polite manner.
