With that serving as the backdrop to this egregious act by LaVonte David on Sunday, we felt it was necessary to dock him $7,800 pay. How would you feel if that was your quarterback who received such a vicious hit? Imagine if that was Peyton Manning and his surgically fused spine fell apart?
If the players want to sue us for what THEY do on the field, we are left with no choice but to dole out heavy handed penalties.
