you see how other countries have poor radar during this mishap
i think that theory that the plane went to 40000 feet to decompress the cabin comes into play
not saying the USA specifically but if someone went through the trouble to get that plane then i don't think they are going to use is against a nation that can't even run a proper radar system.
that being said, if it is used against a nation with a functioning, nation wide radar system then the scenario i presented is the one i expect to play out.
there probably looking for a easy target and theres ways to avoid radar such as flying really low to the ground
