youd be surprised how much money in academia is put towards the dumbest shyt in the name of research

if it was common knowledge what a lot of tuition money gets put towards the student loan debate would be a lot more one sided

I be trying to tell people that it’s so much finessing going on in academia and science with a lot of these dumb ass or irrelevant ass studies. I’m a bullshytter myself, so I always seen the finesse in that shyt. Even since a kid I always was like, I bet all these fossils and shyt they be finding be some bullshyt. Of course not everything. But people always wanna act like I’m the crazy one, like all that shyt on the up and up. Hell naw. Even in corporate America, people with the power to, create bullshyt ass projects to stay busy and keep the fact that they really don’t provide any value a secret. Other industries are no different

So what if I wanna go on sabbatical to conduct a qualitative study of people’s perceptions of alcoholic beverages on cruises!
:dahell: Let’s not go overboard with all this fancy smancy talk about cutting useless research funds...

Remember that report a few years ago about the value of melanin being worth more than gold?

:sas2:

Kidnapping and runaways of black children here in North America and throughout the world
:sas2:

Organ harvesting
:sas2:

We've been their experiments for centuries, psychologically and physically. They are also interested in the inheritance of reflexive mindsets and resilience.

I mean, I thought we was magic though. We got black girl magic, then we was supposed to all get some powers one day a while back, but I think it may be a delay on mine cause I didn’t get mines yet. And don’t get me started on Magic Johnson
Yeah it’s a nope for my powers too. Still can’t instant transmission.:francis:

Beat me to it. Folk think thousands of our kids go missing just for nothing. The rabbit hole in which you'll dive into to discover JUST how evil these 'higher ups' is. :wow:

Okay! I learn new shyt everyday!
My sciencey people did not tell me any of this shyt about melanin. I’m not talking about conspiracy theory shyt of pseudoscience.

No seriously, melanin is actually a chemical compound that can be used in so many different ways!
:ohhh::ohhh::ohhh:
River Road Research Awarded A Patent For Melanin Production

“A pigment ubiquitous in nature, melanin is extremely difficult to isolate and refine in large quantities. It has long been known to possess physical and electrical properties but few commercial applications have been developed due to the historically high cost. Produced with conventional technology, melanin is often priced at $350 per gram.”

'Edible' Electronics Can Be Powered by Melanin

“Medical devices are becoming smaller and more advanced, with researchers inventing tiny nano-scale devices that can even be ingested for internal monitoring or medication release. These devices wil,l of course, require power sources that also are safe for ingestion or implantation, and engineers are eyeing new forms of batteries and energy-harvesting methods to solve this problem.

One of the latest solutions comes from researchers at Carnegie Mellon University, who have discovered that melanin-a natural pigment found in the human skin-demonstrates a chemical structure well-suited to creating batteries based on natural melanin pigments. These batteries could become future power sources for a new class of medical devices called "edible electronics," said Chris Bettinger, Carnegie Mellon associate professor and one of the researchers on the project.”

WTF?!:what:

So basically we’ll have a black iron man soon :wow:
