It also doesn't mean it's anything special. :stopitslime:

8 points scored by 3 All-Stars in 30 secs, when T-Mac and Reggie did it by themselves NOT in the pre-season.

Somebody has to set the context for the younger generation. :manny:

:why:So they're gonna go from a 73 win team to more of a 65-win team then

They will be in the 55- 60 win range this year and that would OBVIOUSLY be a HUGE drop from having the BEST RECORD EVER of 73 wins.

Just watch what happens this season. Golden State will regret signing Durant. They priority should of been to keep the same roster as last year and make an upgrade at the center position. They also needed to upgrade their bench.

They did NONE of those things.

As a Spurs fan, I am happy Golden State got Durant.

They pretty much guaranteed us a trip to finals, although I still fear the Clippers and I don't think ANYONE has a chance of beating the cavs.

Looks like the lakers are heading straight back to the lottery :dead:
Lakers played well last night. If Russell hadn't created so many unforced turnover, it would have been only a 4-6 point Warrior win. Laker's kept inching closer and close. And that was with GS starting 5 playing almost the whole fourt quarter while Lakers closed the game with 3 players who probably won't even make the team.

Lakers might be going back to the lottery, but don't use last night's game as an example. GS also blitz the Clippers

You realize they've only been together for a few weeks right?

The Miami Heat struggled early on in their first year, but still made it to the finals their first year together.

Chemistry can take a few months to get to 100%. You're acting like they're as good as they'll ever be right now, which isn't the case.

KD looks really happy thus far, like a kid out there.

Kevin Durant is NOT Lebron James man.

Kevin Durant does not make Golden State better, especially since they downgraded at center and downgraded their bench.

Kevin Durant is simply a high volume shooter, that is streaky, turnover prone, clumsy, plays suspect defense, and is generally a low iq player.
That is simply NOT what golden state needed. Especially since they have a player with those same flaws in Steph Curry.

Golden State is still a team that LIVES AND DIES by the three, except they worse overall this season in every other aspect.

if you watched the entire game, you can CLEARLY see Golden State is worse team now.

There offense just doesn't look as fluid as last year, and at times you forget Durant is even on the team.

They are literally the same team as last year with the same flaws, with bench that is significantly worse, and another turnover streaky shooter in durant.

They wont be in the finals this year. I can't see them beating a healthy Spurs or Clippers in a series with that roster.

Casuals will exposed again this season.

On a side note, Klay Thompson has CLEARLY been the best player on Golden State BY FAR this pre season. However he looks frustrated and not happy with team, mainly because Durant joined them and of course I think he took the finals loss harder than any other player on golden state

:dahell: Do you think talent scouts from ESPN are checking these threads, looking for the posters with the hottest takes? You sound like you're auditioning to be the Coli's Skip Bayless with all the takes you're spewing in this thread.
