I was still living in Jersey when that home invasion shyt went down. In fact it actually happened in Jerz. The story was that it was a home invasion but dude was actually gang raped too. fukked dude's mind up. Picture this, Devante went from a ladies man to having his manhood taken, which escalated the drug abuse tremendously. He got more tattoos, switched his music up, going from romantic to a more let's get to the point (sex), as witnessed by the group's content on their third and final album. He thought he could do whatever he thought necessary to be masculine to hide the fact he was raped and he ultimately couldnt handle it. After the third album, he just vanished aside from a few cracked out appearances every few years.

COTTTDAYUMMNN! This type of s hit is strangely believable. It explains much. I'm sorry I even asked but I just had to know what led to the downfall of the greatest RnB group in the history of music.

Is it really confirmed by reliable sources that a gang rape took place? I've read Ronin Ro's book, and it seems like there was definitely some sexual violence at Death Row, and related matter or locations…but was it really like that? That's just fukking disgusting, if true….but it seems a little far fetched and more myth then facts. Maybe some intimidation tactics or humiliation... But you never know how things can turn when you got lowlifes doing your dirty work for you.

nah, it's well known that suge was infamous for his "locking the door" tactics, where he would have a meeting with one of his artists and then when they defied him or pissed him off, he would signal one of his goons, who he would have in important staff meetings as if having gangbangers fresh out of prison was necessary to a successful business, to "lock the door" then let his goons have their way with said artist to teach them a lesson. there's no way, suge didn't know what was going on.
