Rae and Ghost still have the best scenes in the show to me… I still feel they should’ve never casted Dave East as method man, it’s noticeable that they don’t focus on his career as much because Dave ain’t a strong actor.

To be fair Ghost wasn't just out whopping asses... he was puttign in work to finance things and allow RZA to be locked away. It's the reason Dennis Coles had executive producer credits

Emmys are for TV. And as great as the show is it’ll NEVER garner acting/directing awards at the bigger scale ceremonies. But it should have acting noms, writing noms, and directing noms. Black created shows rarely do. In the last 6 years only five black created television shows have been nominated for Emmys and of those shows only two won what would be considered “Above The Line” awards and that was for Comedy not drama.

Atlanta, created by Donald Glover made him the first black man to ever win Best Director For A Comedy in 2017. He also won Best Actor In A Comedy that same year.

Abbot Elementary, created by Quinta Brunson made her only the second black woman to win Best Writing For A Comedy.

And dave east cant even mimmick method man correctly. Idk how hard it was to just copy meths flow on a song but his flow is so wooden it sounds like shyt compared to the real versions. Guy cant act for shyt and i was really looking forward to seeing tical get made in real time.


As we see on the show. The only people really “working” at this point are rza vine and power. Rest are living it up. I always thought how they treated divine was bullshyt. Without the wu brand, they all get shyt. There is no 500k for gza. No 400 for rae.

Im suprised gza got 500, rae got 400. Meth got 200 and odb got 150.

I assume that was only advances and in the end prolly helped meth more than hurt but idk.

It gets tricky. I don't think he was core until the album dropped, or at least just right before or after. After 36 dropped, every time they mentioned the Clan, and every promo run it was "9 of us" "Deep Space Nine" "9 Planets" and ish like that. He was definitely in the group for the "incident with said reporter", but he probably wasn't in the group for the Proteck Ya Neck/Method Man/Tearz "$100 session."

Plus he gets a CREAM video spot, when showcasing all of the members.

This was a dope episode. The brotherhood when the tour starts, Divine willing to take the hate so RZA could concentrate on the music, ODB being ODB, the birth of Wu Wear, and Mook hustling (like Ghost said I'm not mad at him but at least tell me about it).

Of course Rae got crabby over the money split and blew up the spot.
U-God was never the same after his son got shot. In his book he talks about basically giving up on life at that time and being so angry he couldn't see straight.

Maybe it happened in season 2 and I'm forgetting but this would be the time to show Meth fighting hard the ladies man image as well as clashes with the clan in regards to his popularity taking off and Ghost and Rae fukking with him about it.
