Well that was fukking depressing...not really a wu fan, but i just assumed the tone of this article would be a tad bit more celebratory...after reading you get the impression the writer was a huge wu-nerd back in the day, but after spending time interviewing them while putting this together came away thinking "
I can't believe how
and how big of fukk ups these dudes are" ... everything's pretty much framed as "they were supposed to be way greater than this, but they fell the fukk off after '97 and have spent the past 15 years as pathetic shells of their former potential transcendence" ...lol exactly what i was expecting from a 20 year anniversary retrospectiveif you missed out completely lit RZA was at Bonnaroo:
