I bought it when it came out....my cousin asked me to dub it for him. I used to buy and make dubs for people. I told him with this one....would have to edit out the wack songs and make edited "best of" version. Never got around to it.
There used to be a feature on cd players were random songs on discs would play...and trust me, there are wack songs on both discs
up until Forever, wu had barely released bad songs on any project (except for Tical......which was mostly trash)
What are the wack songs in your opinion? And Tical being mostly trash is laughable.

Let me list the songs that sounded like what I expected to hear on the 2nd WuTang group album

One of the reasons the early wu projects were great was the sequencing of the albums. they were structured like albums .
the double disc shyt, was a great business move by wu, but sounded like compilations of songs instead of two albums or one long album.
and on the songs that I considered lacking, something was off.....wrong dudes spitting, wrong person rapping last...something
dirty,gza,rae, ghost had great albums between the first wu album and the second one.......so the bar was super high for forever.....I feel it fell short of expectations
There are, of course, standout songs on Wu Forever but I won't go as far as calling the other songs wack. Even Black Shampoo isn't wack to me. It has one of the dopest sounding beats on the whole album imo.
And I disagree, I think the album was just what it should have been. I was a bit disappointed at first because the album's sound strayed far from the sound of 36 Chambers but it finally hit me what RZA was doing and it quickly became one of my favorite albums of all time. Definite classic album.
