To hell with rationalizations. I take this crap seriously.

It is not ironic for White men and women to target Black characters on a television show and to say "my nikka" or coloreds or Negroes or, as was said in a classic episode of the Sopranos, "These Blacks"

The targeting comforts viewers.

It would have been narratively ironic if Mr. McMahon had said it, in character, while pitching the WWE Network.

the del rio situation should be bought up

and the lack of latinos: wwe is the most watched english programming among latinos, yet they have 4 male wrestlers on the roster who are never in storylines(matadores and lucha dragons) ,1 diva (eva mendes) 1 annoucer(lilian garcia)

and 1 world champ in seth rollins whom they whitewashed and never once mention his Latino ethnicity in promotion, not even during hispanic heritage month in ictober where they run vignettes

than lets discuss how theyve treated asians......

It's a publically-traded company...

So how would you explain to sponsors having someone dressed in blackface in a mean spirited segment?

There was hardly any "satire" involved in that segment.

A lot of the Attitude Era stuff is one of the main reasons why Linda will never get a serious political position.
