Sounds like a repeat of Jericho going to NJPW while still wrestling part time with the WWE, except this time they'll have Bryan under a deal so he can't fully jump to another company

More I think about it, the more I think this is what is going to happen. Bryan (and other stars down the line who want to negotiate working Japan in their contracts) will have a similar deal with WWE that Jericho and Moxley currently have with AEW where they can go to NJPW but it has to be over there and not stateside. Don't think there's going to be any full-blown Wrestlemania/WK supercard by any means.
