If they get into China through YOU on demand, its a wrap...that would be monumental for the brand

I know WWE goes to india, have they ever done a tour of china or Hong Kong?

They've done a tour of China - they ran in Beijing and Shanghai but they've never done HK. WWE is not popular in HK at all and they don't have a TV deal out there (there's only like 6 tv channels in HK) but the buildings there are small enough for them to sell out (12-14k seating capacity).

You can wear your WWE fanboy glasses all you want, the number is very bad. They promised 2 million before the year is over, there's not a chance in hell they even break a million before the end of the year at this rate. The ONE PPv that would get a large portion of people to subscribe just passed and they couldn't get 1 million but all of the sudden by October they're gonna have nikkas buying it, why, so they can see Battleground? Lmao.

The announcement this morning of only 667,287 subscribers to the WWE Network has led to massive stock selling. As of this moment, the stock has dropped $6.07 to $21.97 per share.

The number shocked people internally who were led to believe the network was doing far better than that. The number had been kept secretive from almost everyone, but at business meetings over the weekend with companies they work with, they pushed the Monday announcement hard and in a positive manner.

People need to learn how stocks work. The increase in the stock number had to do with expectations of the network and the television rights and most expectations are unrealistic. Most people who buy in have no fukking clue how business works.

I would assume that there are a lot of people who were :whoa: about this because of how terrible live streaming has been in the past for everything from the Olympics to HBOGO, etc.. they all have issues. WWE Network just put on a huge event with full HD and nobody had a single issue.

I feel if they continue to book interesting matches and show that the live feed is legit, more people will buy in.

If they get 600k subscriptions and anywhere close to a million WM buys, the stock will pop again. That's an extra 6mm per month in revenue that they didn't have. That's 70mm a year.
