WWE isn’t going to sit by and just let AAA do all the dumb bullshyt they were doing that led them to be in the financial dire straits they were in.
I bet they will. No way is there going to be someone in the office micro managing AAA and no one there knows shyt about booking lucha anyway unless they put Rey in charge or something. They will probably suggest who to feature more but that's about it.

The only way they get into really putting their fingers in the pie is if they bring AAA broadcasts to Netflix or Peacock or Tubi or whatever the fukk, imo.

They are a publicly traded company, investors will go apeshyt over continuing to run AAA and losing millions in the process.

Anyway this is clearly a direct response to AEW working with both AAA and CMLL and it's very funny they're so pressed about having to talk about AEW in nearly every interview during media week for WM. And running the first AAA/WWE event about a week before the already announced AEW/CMLL show. Real Vince shyt going on.

Triple H when someone asks him about TripleMania “I heard they have an annual WrestleMania type show and they named it after me. TripleMania, Triple H, sounds lovely. It’s a beautiful wrestling show. Real lucha libre wrestling. Got men and even women just flipping around all over the place to honor me. Maybe next year we rename it Triple H Mania”

Luchablog was talking about how the AEW/CMLL show was everything AAA needed because they've been wanting to partner up to have a presence in the U.S, and that Arena México show was the thing that made WWE finally pull the trigger on talks that have been going on for a quite a while, supposedly.

"When Worlds Collide" 2025 is not really gonna affect AEW's Grand Slam at Arena México though. If anything, every fan is gonna be a winner because both companies will want to have a banger of a show, and both companies have the talent to pull it off.

If that ever happens it will take years of bad business. It would be sad as hell though, for sure.
wonder what impact this may have on the talent and employees that are there after the buyout. not sure what they paid for aaa but i'm sure all contracts gonna be reviewed as they get closer to expiring. if wwe gotta recoup the money from the purchase, they will find a way to do that.

They only have like 15 wrestlers under contract according to RobViper on Twitter. Most talent worth a shyt have left, so they’ve been relying a ton on paying per appearance.
