Breh like I'm over caping for a business that treat's reality like a high school locker room. It's just mentally exhausting to read about the bullshyt and try to watch wrestling like nothing just happened behind the scenes. For what it's worth, I just want change meaning if it were to just implode tomorrow, I hope for redemption in another promotion of how it was during the steroid trial. During that time it was pretty much a wrap until WCW cut the check and ECW treated the industry like a And 1 mixtape. I just want change in this industry and if it just bring the right change such as a union, a better approach to the cinematic wrestling movement, and get rid of the scumbags or just keep the scumbag'ish shyt down to a mere before the internet times, I would be fine.

Until then, I could give a damn if everything were to close to tomorrow with the exception of DDT of course

People watched Talking Dead or Talking Bad because a bunch of people actually watch those shows.

Like I said in the beginning of 2020, wrestling is going to finally fukking die

it will always be around in some shape or form, probably with much less tv exposure within the next 5 years, but yea this pandemic situation has officially proved the business is fukking dead as a potential mainstream product imo. They kept pushing through the pandemic for tv time and ratings continued to stay the same or worse for WWE and even AEW as far as a i know. They didn’t scoop up any viewers who were dying to watch something live with nothing else on tv, even if it was scripted.

I never even bought the Smackdown move to Fox on a Friday night as a big potential scoop in ratings because, shyt, it’s a Friday night. I’m either out doing shyt or these days I’m playing video games or catching up on Netflix/shows I haven’t had time to watch during the week. 9 times out of 10 I’m surprised by the recap on Saturday in that I totally forgot there was even a wrestling show on the night before. Tbf I only watch the big 4 ppvs, and sometimes not even those, at this point with an occasional Raw sprinkled in if nothing else is going on.

Now the whole industry is facing the metoo wave and it’s over in my opinion unless by some miracle they have a couple guys who can recreate the attitude era feeling in a decade or so but that shyt ain’t going to fly on tv anymore without it being corny anyway.
