they loved john cena too once. unfortunately this company has a way of screwing these things up.

what exactly does bryan have to offer as a GM character? how is he going to effect the makeup of the show long term?

Lol..Cena was loved as a main event face for 6 months and then turned on his own rapper persona. He buried himself. Bryan speaks from the heart...like no else except when Rocky and Austin pop up. People claimed Rock buried Wyatt but no big name star gave him props on a stage that big more than the Rock did. Shocking considering how hard they had Roman and Cena bury him before that.

But there are those who might me able to infuse some personality into what is otherwise a generic role.

Bryan will no longer be playing the role of scrappy underdog. Now he's the authority. He's going to pander to the crowd, chant yes, bicker with the show's heels, and place people in fatal four ways.

You know this is only going to last a few months. Eventually Vince will come back, state a reason why he doesn't like Daniel, announce a stip at the PPV and replace him with someone else. Knowing this company this could be done as soon as survivor series.
