From what I understand the titles are used to get people over. shyt hasn't been working.... , none of them dudes got that name recognition like dude was saying in that TNA thread. This might create more storylines where they write shyt up for a up and comer that's hungry for the belt (if its smackdown writers..).

Make the IC champ a fighting champion on both shows and you COULD be building up the NEXT GUY.

Sucks for the rest of the mid-card though. Ultimately, it's better to have one tag title, one mid-card title and one main event title. Maybe this is a step in the right direction (even if the company isn't looking at it that way right now).

Just what I was about to post.... bring back the TV belt and let the champ get a 10 minute match weekly ... would be great for a good wrestler to get over with a guaranteed time slot

If you're gonna merge something, merge the US and Intercontinental titles, or better yet...


KEEP the intercontinental title, it's YOUR title, have the US title get TRASHED by an international superstar and build some heat on em...

@ the TV title... shyt was the most useless title there was. And the Euro title ain't far behind.

If they were to keep two secondary titles, then the US title and IC should be it... those are the ones that have real lineage, fukk a TV and Euro belt.

But eh, I don't see the point in them killin' off the US title. It doesn't serve MUCH of a purpose, but it's not hurtin' anything either. It's better than how they had like 7 different titles at one point and literally ANYBODY could win one. At one point (like around 2000-2001), it was like you'd have to be a flat out jobber if you hadn't held at least one of the belts.
