So is the future of Peacock bleak? Because if they wind up putting everything on YouTube for free, then there's no reason to keep Peacock in the future.

The belief was that eventually WWE in the US will be like it is global through Netflix with their weekly shows and PPVS by 2026. Currently the way it looks in other countries that have that its just NXT, RAW, Smackdown weekly and some of the archives and WWE only PPVs. So the thinking was having Youtube for the vault slowly

But there was a report last week, that they're willing to negotiate with Peacock now suddenly

That might be because of the dropping Raw numbers on netflix and the idea of everything on the network being displaced everywhere if they do go with the Netflix deal in full..or they're just saying that as a formality and will go Netflix full time with current shows/PLEs and putting the archives slowly on youtube.

I currently hate the Netflix deal because of them purposely holding back over 20+yrs of RAW episodes, which is 95% of Cena's entire career and the majority of the Attitude Era. The numbers dropping is not shocking at all since the banner clearly shows that Netflix expected a different roster. :russ:

So is all this coming off Peacock soon or do I least have some time to rewatch old school shows before they sell them off to bunch of companies with streaming entities that have funds to blow and "wrestling is popular again".

You always got to be willing to negotiate, more competition the better terms/money you can get

There’s very little financial value in archives. Hardly anyone watches even watches the old WWE stuff on Peacock, much less any of stuff from other promotions.

For those of us that do actually like having access to it, you better hope WWE is committed to getting it all uploaded to YouTube or it’s very likely going to become lost media.

I don't care what Dave thinks, I prefer a slower and more methodical pacing to wrestling, especially title matches

Sometimes both guys can go at a video game level and blow you away nh with what moves they do, and that's amazing. Takeshyta vs Osprey last year.

Yeah, of course. I'm not against any one particular style. Also, What did I think of Mox and Cope? I thought it kinda sucked because the story they were telling wasn't very compelling to me and neither of them were executing their moves well enough.

I thought the event was good but there was probably 8 matches on the card better than theirs
