Jake "The Snake" Roberts Wants to Buy TNA, Guarantees His Numbers Will Beat McMahon's
By Marc Middleton
Nov 2, 2013 - 6:59:38 AM

- Jake "The Snake" Roberts, who moved out of Diamond Dallas Page's Accountability Crib and is now living with his lawyer, told BlankManINC.com that he wants to use crowd-funding site Indiegogo so fans can help him purchase TNA.

He was asked about TNA going up for sale. Here's his response:

"God, it needs to. I mean, I watched for 10, 12, 15 years, however long it’s been out there and they suck. I guarantee you if I get the opportunity, in a matter of six months I’ll be pissing Vince McMahon off. My numbers will beat his, I guarantee you that."

Jake, who says he hasn't heard from WWE in regards to a Royal Rumble return, says he would rather own TNA so he can change the world and get wrestling back to what it should be - wrestling, not sports entertainment.

Jake The Snake can be brought in to be a creative mind for Total Nonstop Struggle, but buying the company though?

From the Indiegogo FAQ page:

What if I don't reach my funding goal?
If your campaign is set up as Flexible Funding, you will be able to keep the funds you raise, even if you don't meet your goal. If your campaign is set up as Fixed Funding, all contributions will be returned to your funders if you do not meet your goal. Flexible Funding campaigns that meet their goal are only charged 4% as our platform fee, whereas campaigns that do not meet their goal are charged 9%.

Sounds like a win-win to me. If he raises enough, he buys TNA. If he doesn't (and he won't), he can bank whatever he gets.

Jake's a smart dude.

This reminds me of the movie about Earl "The Goat" Manigault when he wanted the old basketball park/court back and the drug dealer looked at him like :rudy: and said "what's a junkie gonna do with a park?"
