The biggest difference is TNA actually has a TV deal while WCW did not. I also feel like some shady deals happened under the table too. Someone at AOL Time Warner got paid off.

I know, but it's still :mindblown:, WCW, the once legendary promotion of the NWA geared toward classic pro wrestling for decades was reduced to nothing at the end for Vince to buy for peanuts. While, TNA, who was once the exciting, upstart promotion is now a second-rate promotion that has been horribly managed, booked, promoted, etc, can be bought to much more money,

:wow:, that says a lot when TNA in 2013 could be sold for 4x the amount WCW was sold to Vince in 2001
Like someone mentioned, they only selling more cause WCW had no TV. If they had TV, they would've never been sold. Ted Turner would've kept it if they didn't sell to AOL. Turner loved wrestling, but AOL just saw WCW as a money losing business on the books.

In fact, WWE had a 3 year no compete clause with Turner after buying WCW, as soon as it was over, Ted Turner contacted people cause he wanted to start a new wrestling promotion. But Wrestling in 2004 was doing bad, so the people told him don't bother cause he'd lose too much money

With all due respect, the only thing Jake Snake is kicking the ass of is a ham and cheese sandwich.

Flabby ass Strugglepact is never gonna compete with the WWE, it would take something completely new with the right talent and business model to even stand a chance.
