The CM Punk situation is personally being handled by Vince McMahon himself, as opposed to Triple H or WWE's Talent Relations department.
WWE officials are not happy at all about the story getting out and there being a big deal publicly. The hope was to keep it as an internal issue and deal with it within the company.

There were meeting with the WWE creative team all last week discussing WrestleMania XXX plans if Punk does not return, as well what to do with him if he does come back. The meetings were not as a result of Punk walking out specifically but also a by-product of fans rejecting segments and the reaction for Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble. A source noted that "anything is possible" at this point in regards to the WrestleMania XXX card and nothing should be considered official or locked in with the exception of John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt.

- Here's the Facebook statement from The Key Arena in Seattle about WWE Extreme Rules possibly being held there this year:
"Unfortunately we do not have WWE on May 4th. We are aware of the rumors that have been circulating. We love having the WWE and WWE Fans in our building and can't wait to have them back!"

Nah, Trips has his replacement lined up:

NAO tag champs; Batista/ Shameus/ Nash in the mix; imagine Xpac makes a return. All his boys cashing in. :ohhh:

Punk bytch jobbing to Xpac is in the works as predicted :ohlawd:

HHH is actually a household name, Punk bytch should have been honored to take that L

He needs to realize that the Kilq never loses, and he will come crawling back, and an L to Xpac is waiting for him :shaq:

They def need to change Taker vs. Lesnar

Personally, I do NOT wanna see that

That match will basically be the last 2 Taker/HHH matches with Taker taking the beating of his life and somehow winning with the same storyline as Punk/Taker with Heyman saying that he's confident his client will end the streak because Taker has never beat Brock 1 on 1

There match at Unforgiven back in the early 2000s was great... also since then they have learned MMA moves which would make it a interesting match :lupe:

They had some cool matches over 10 years ago.

Taker wrestles once a year and is mainly carried by who he's going against at this point in his career.

Going against Brock will basically be another beatdown because at WM they gotta make it believable that the opponent's gonna win and in ring wise, I see this being HHH/Taker from a few years ago before they had the HIAC only with Brock having the occassional Heyman interference.

Also, do they still have heat from that UFC thing?

At this point, the only guy I could see the crowd actually wanting to break the streak is DB

Source: PWInsider Elite

We noted before that major WrestleMania XXX creative meetings were held over the past week with several discussions changed. While many different scenarios were brought up, at least one source in WWE creative told PWInsider that they doesn't expect a lot of changes will be made.
While it may appear they are going in the direction of Kane vs. Daniel Bryan after this week's TV shows, the source didn't expect Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan to be changed. Regarding that match, nobody within WWE expects Bryan to go over.

Regarding the recent Batista vs. Brock Lesnar teases on WWE TV, the feeling is that it was done to build to something between the two later this year.
