According to Cagematch, he technically debuted in 2023 in NXT house shows but he only had 3 matches that year. Made his NXT Level Up debut in May 2024. Then he won that tournament on the LFG show earlier this year. Then made his NXT main show debut on May 27.I’m so behind on NXT and cool with that, but legit never heard of Jasper Troy.

They don't seem to really have done much of anything with Ricky since he dropped the North American title back in May. Only four matches since he lost that title (see below). He was getting pushed better than this in AEW until he told them he wanted out.
- Singles win against Ashante Adonis who WWE gives no shyts about
- Won a gauntlet match against some jobbers
- Lost to Ethan Page for the North American titles
- Then the loss by count out last night to Jasper Troy

I would love to know the set up for this outside of Taker needing an ego stroke. Makes TNA, NXT, and Trick look like clowns for the old dudes to get one last thrill to try to get it up again than can't lead to anything because Taker ain't working or bumping ever again. Maybe there's some tie in to that stupid LFG show that would lead to....a rookie of a rookie brand of a rookie brand winning the....TNA championship on WWE TV? lmao.

Might be time to have the conversation about that AEW partnership not being as bad as the Stooge World Order wants to tell you it was.

Mariah May was seemingly targeting the NXT champ in her debut then less than two months later they turn her heel for no damn reason and she’s never been in the title picture and seemingly won’t be any time soon because the champ is a heel. Then they had Road Dogg go on Busted Open to bury her. WWE got handed what should have been a day-one star and doesn’t know fukk all what to do with her.
