The free month was in what November ? It's end of January man and they a publicly traded company they would be finished if they were cooking the books
But they technically are because those people got November free, paid for December(which they are reporting), and have no 6 month obligation.

The actual number — 1,000,648 — is the current subscriber count, as of Jan. 27, and after “Royal Rumble,” which was available in 170 countries and territories.

That’s after a group of very vocal fans took to Twitter shortly after the event, causing the hashtag #CancelWWENetwork to trend, to voice their disapproval of the show’s outcome.

these smarks are just talking shyt, they ain't going nowhere. :mjlol:

Um...I think the ratings are gonna get pretty low in the following weeks. But with Sting coming back, I don't know. They might stay steady. The heat for Cena and Reigns isn't going anywhere though. It's gonna be Cena's biggest fall if that crowd chants Let's go RUSEV at Fast Lane:laugh:

Subscribers who cancelled after the Royal Rumble event still count for that number. They are still "subscribers" until their last month runs out.

I'll wait for the quarterly reports and shareholder conference calls in March and June (I believe) to verify whether this number is worth taking seriously or not. You know, pending stunts like free months and the like.

If this number drops back down to, say, 800,000 or less by June, then they might be in some real trouble with this Network thing.

For people unsubscribed, it won't show until however long a period they paid for is up.
200k could hypothetically have unsubbed and they would still be counted amongst subscribers.
If it's still at a million+ after WM, then it's worth celebrating.

Itll be more for wrestlemania bruh

Which is why I said after.
Number will certainly go up because WM is the equivalent of WWE's superbowl.
End of April/beginning of May if they're sitting on a million and not down to 710-850k, Vince can consider it a win.

The stock is gonna crack $13 today..any of you tsc brehs can become part owners of WWE and get in on this wave. If you have Bank Of America you can create a Merril Edge account and instantly fund your stock account. We can all walk right up to the sun hand in hand and cash out after it hits $25 again.

Man you know all those ppl on twitter didn't unsubscribe. And the ones who did were going to do so anyway after the Rumble.

Being that I think the rumble was a really good ppv, alot of these ppl will get to the weekend of Fast Lane and sign right back up. A ppv for 10 bucks is still undeniable. Especially right before Mania

We'll find out I guess.
Only time will tell. I agree with the bold, though.
Only wish this was around in the late 90s and early 00s when I was a kid.
It was next to impossible to get my folks to throw out 19.99 and 29.99 a month for a PPV as a 3rd grader.
They would have hooked me up with the Network with the quickness, though.
