Add Progress Wrestling from the UK to the list of companies making qualifiers for the tournament, so I guess its guaranteed Zack Sabre Jr. will be there.

What to Expect from the WWE – EVOLVE Relationship This Weekend
WWN Live has issued the following:

When we say we are in uncharted waters with the WWE relationship, we mean it. WWN Officials were surprised to see this article on WWE.com about EVOLVE and other promotions hosting qualifying matches for the WWE Global Cruiserweight Series. We are all walking this new ground together so there is no telling what will happen next. There will be WWE/NXT officials at the WWN Seminar/Tryout this Thursday so we expect more talks to happen at that time. This could possibly lead to things happening as soon as the EVOLVE events this weekend in Dallas. At the very least, the competitiveness in the EVOLVE locker room has reached an unprecedented intensity. Everyone wants to be in this tournament, which will give new levels of exposure and prestige to the participants. You can expect a residual effect of the article at the EVOLVE and WWN Supershow cards this weekend as the talent roster tries to position themselves to be in the WWE Global Cruiserweight Series.

The new WWE Global Cruiserweight Series is currently scheduled to start airing Wednesday nights on WWE Network beginning July 13th at 9 p.m. EST, right after NXT airs.

The tournament will feature 32 participants, and the whole thing is expected to be filmed from June 20th through the 24th at Full Sail University in Orlando. The tapings would likely see two episodes taped per night, and the finals of the series would air on WWE Network on September 14th. It was noted that the idea for the tournament is to make it an annual event.

As far as the qualifying matches go, they are expected to be taped, but might not air in full on WWE Network. As of right now WWE production teams would not be involved with shooting the qualifiers, and the promotions hosting those matches would provide the footage.

Progress Wrestling, Revolution Pro Wrestling and EVOLVE Wrestling have been announced as qualifying match hosts so far.

PROGRESS & REV PRO? :feedme:

Someone at WWE knows UK ain't playing no more, they have incredible talent doing their thing in Europe.

I did read that they offered King Cuerno a spot, but AAA/LU said no. That's bad business, daddeh.
