I don’t see a world where I’m paying $30 a month just for a PLE, I didn’t start paying for WWE PPVs/PLEs until they launched the Network, so I’ll probably just go back to “alternative” methods

It was either going to be ESPN or Netflix. ESPN because of the UFC ties. I'd rather they had gone to Netflix because at least the picture quality is good over there. ESPN looks like dogshyt.

I haven’t used ESPN in awhile but I remember they didn’t even have a Continue Watching option. If you clicked off a show you were watching by accident, you had to start from the beginning.

Naw no one is defending this, wrestling marks don’t give a fukk about real sports so espn other content doesn’t appeal to them.
Disney has been trash since endgame and with them buying nfl network and now WWE ppv they are forcing espn to remain relevant

It’s a good business decision for both parties but for us fans it’s alwful

hell naw. Peacock was pretty cheap even with the price increase and you still got nfl, Olympics, movies and tv shows. I really don’t even watch nothing but maybe five PLEs a year in full IF that cause the shyt is mid.

I’ll just use a stream or not watch at all. The easy accessibility would have me watch sometimes when I wasn’t even super interested to begin with.

This seems like the worst time to do this when the quality of PLEs have been mid. I don't think we can even name 3 memorable PLEs during the PLE era. I will give them Summerslam night 2 but other than that it's filled with mid and so little wrestling because they spend so much of time on ads and cutting matches. I think WWE is playing with fire here because their output doesn't allow them luxury to jack up prices like that. It's not like WWE is going crazy with PPVs like AEW does but even then that's a tough ask in this economy

I don't know how Netflix works but I recommend people to get a VPN and watch international netflix feed because it will most likely include all of the PLEs.

I was just starting to get back into wrestling too but it’s not enough for me to wanna do all that. It be one thing if this was announced awhile ago and starting during College Football, but this is starting after the football season and it just doesn’t seem worth it.
