This seems like the worst time to do this when the quality of PLEs have been mid. I don't think we can even name 3 memorable PLEs during the PLE era. I will give them Summerslam night 2 but other than that it's filled with mid and so little wrestling because they spend so much of time on ads and cutting matches. I think WWE is playing with fire here because their output doesn't allow them luxury to jack up prices like that. It's not like WWE is going crazy with PPVs like AEW does but even then that's a tough ask in this economy

I don't know how Netflix works but I recommend people to get a VPN and watch international netflix feed because it will most likely include all of the PLEs.

What do you mean?

NBC wil no longer be producing anything after March of 2026. Smackdown will remain on USA, which is owned by NBC
Podcast I’m listening to with Nick Khan says NBC will continue producing all of the content/events.

ESPN is all about licensing with this, not producing it themselves because they don’t really have the ability to.

Btw Nick Khan pretty much hinted that it can grow from 10 PLEs. Sounds like Royal Rumble will become a 2-night event eventually, at minimum.

All the big four plus MITB will be two nights

It doesn't sound like TKO is going to force the UFC model which still has ppvs with free and online ESPN+ exclusives.

But still this extra bundle is not great. ESPN+ is a shytty UI. And I only have it as part of the bundle because Hulu ads are aids level. I'll most likely add this additional $15 if my Netflix won't work on my VPN.

This is also crazy cause peacock just raised their prices.

I'm reaching the point that I need to cancel shyt just because. They're taking advantage of people that are just like fukk it and stay subscribed no matter how much they use the service.

It's been easier for me to just setup and forget versus churning them in waves.
