I see a lot of people saying this is all TKO's fault and Vince should've never sold. But the company was going in this direction for a long time while Vince was still running shyt. Nick Khan is really the driving force behind all this shyt.

They've made a lot of major business moves these last few years. Khan has done his job well. Hard to deny that but I just wonder if the uptick in business has them feeling themselves a little too much. It reminds me of Microsoft after the 360 thinking shyt was sweet but making moves that hurt the consumer. HHH is basically Bischoff in 96....he stumbled into a hot angle that he ran into the ground but he hasn't done shyt beyond that really.
It's funny you mention Microsoft because lately I've been discussing the fact that Microsoft was likely the genesis of this hyper ad spam era we're in now

Some of y'all remember when Microsoft announced the Xbox One and KINECT. One of Kinects features was passively recording your home whether it was on or off, for the purpose of seeing how they could further spam you with ads. At the time Microsoft got bullied into pulling back Kinect but it was only the beginning :francis: now look at everything. Ads any and everywhere all the time, our phone cameras on all the time spying on our surroundings for shyt to constantly sell to us :francis:

I don't think it's a bad deal at all. If you give me TNA & AAA with their library as well then that's enough for me to keep Peacock. I still say that it's the WWE that's ultimately taking the L here by moving their PLEs to ESPN, and the only positive is that it'll force banana nose to actually produce PLE level cards for a change.
Honestly, I could see WWE on ESPN blowing up in their faces if they don't get out of autopilot. However, we gotta keep in mind that this is just speculation and it's mostly coming from WWE's side as we don't know the other side (TNA) stance nor the other 5 networks that are interested in them. For all we know, it could just be NXT PPVs, AAA and TNA impact episodes and not the whole library as I don't see them giving up their specials and PPVs.

UFC been falling off for years at this point and they weren't even that popular to begin with
2009-2016 begs to differ.

If the rumors are true about a 10mil a year deal then you take it if you're TNA, because that's way more than anything you're getting now.

So UFC just killed their PPV model and are headed to Paramount+ If you had any questions on whether they were struggling on PPV or not this is your answer. They just killed it apparently.

Under the deal, Paramount will to exclusively distribute the UFC's full slate of its 13 marquee numbered events and 30 "Fight Nights" on its streaming platform Paramount+ -- with select numbered events also set to simulcast on CBS -- starting in 2026.

It's a shift away from the UFC's existing pay-per-view model, which Paramount and TKO say will allow the mixed martial arts programming reach more consumers nationwide.

Paramount Plus is probably the worst streaming services out of all of them. You gotta pay extra to watch stuff on their platform :martin:

Are you talking about the "Showtime" paywall they have or something else? I keep it because it airs Champions League and Europa games. I haven't watched any UFC since I attended some events and was disgusted by the fan base.
